Description
Coach Osborne not only was a great coach, but a great Nebraska born and bred athlete as well. Winning High School Athlete of the Year and the State College Athlete of the Year - and playing Quarterback, Point Guard, Pitcher, and multiple track event contestant, including discuss! He went on to play for the San Francisco 49ers and the Washington Redskins before a bad hamstring made him retire, and a few months later wandered into newly hired coach Devaney's office and asked to volunteer as a grad assistant coach.
